Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality will be publishing their General Valuation Roll in February 2020 which will be valid for the next four years.
DID YOU KNOW?
Prior to the implementation of the valuation roll, ratepayers will be afforded the opportunity to inspect the valuation roll from the 26th of February 2020 until the 5th of May 2020, and if you are of the opinion that your valuation is over-inflated, you can lodge an objection. The valuation with the applicable tariff will determine your property tax payable for the next 4-year period.
If an objection is not lodged during the advertised objection period, there is little prospect of having the municipal valuation amended, barring special circumstances.
